Underground Dewatering Technician

About the role

Join Gold Fields' high‑performing underground maintenance team as a Dewatering Technician. You will support safe and efficient dewatering operations at the Wallaby mine, working with modern diesel and electric pump systems in a safety‑first culture.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs, servicing and modifications to maximise equipment availability.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on underground dewatering infrastructure.
• Diagnose faults, repair damaged pumps and maintain ancillary equipment.
• Review maintenance processes and propose modern technology improvements.
• Prioritise and coordinate unplanned work throughout the week.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Fixed Plant Maintenance, preferably underground.
• Valid Western Australia manual driver’s licence.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge of relevant statutory obligations.
• Additional licences (HR, Crane, Dogging, EWP, Forklift) are advantageous.
