Trainee Customer Field Technician I - Grafton

About the role

nbn is recruiting a Trainee Customer Field Technician I in Grafton through its Customer Field Technician Traineeship Program, which aims to increase the representation of women and First Nations people in its field service teams. You will work in the field helping to connect customers to the internet, earning a competitive salary of $77,330 per year including superannuation. The position is permanent and full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Work in the field helping to connect customers to the internet
• Learn on the job alongside experienced experts, performing inspections, maintenance, fault diagnosis and resolution, and connecting homes and businesses to high-speed fibre
• Work towards a Cert III in Telecommunications Technology over the 12-month traineeship, paid for by nbn

Required profile

• Full working rights in Australia

• A passion for customer service and an appetite for working independently and at pace
