Strategic Planning Project Support Officer

About the role

Are you highly organised, great with people and interested in supporting projects that shape the future of our communities? We are seeking a Strategic Planning Project Support Officer to provide administration and project support to the Strategic Planning team.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate correspondence, referrals, registers, records and workflows.
• Support planning scheme amendment and development plan overlay processes.
• Maintain project information, SharePoint sites, databases and tracking tools.
• Assist with community engagement, stakeholder meetings and communication tasks.
• Provide professional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support procurement activities, purchase orders, agendas, minutes and general administration.

Required profile

• Experience in administration, project support or customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Helpful, professional approach when working with customers and stakeholders.
• Commitment to learning, innovation and teamwork in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using SharePoint and electronic records or database systems.
• Familiarity with project tracking tools and databases.
