Strategic Advisory Consultant to Director (Expression of Interest)

About the role

Urbis is seeking experienced consultants and leaders to join its Strategic Advisory practice, helping governments, investors and organisations make better decisions about infrastructure, assets and places. Roles are available in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne at Consultant, Senior Consultant, Associate Director and Director levels.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to assignments on infrastructure economics, investment strategy, business cases, cost‑benefit analysis and asset portfolio optimisation.
• Work with government departments, infrastructure agencies, local governments, asset owners, investors, developers and universities across the full decision‑making lifecycle.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in economics, commerce, finance, public policy, business, property, planning, engineering or related fields.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and structured‑thinking skills with excellent written and verbal communication.

Required skills

• Experience in consulting, government, infrastructure, investment or property advisory environments.
• Ability to translate data and evidence into clear, decision‑useful advice and to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
