Storeroom Assistant

About the role

Join Baby Bunting’s back‑of‑house team as a Storeroom Assistant, supporting a busy retail environment focused on baby and parenting products. You will ensure stock integrity, streamline the flow of merchandise to the sales floor, and help maintain a smooth, customer‑friendly operation.

Key responsibilities

• Unpack, label and organise incoming merchandise efficiently.
• Receive and process deliveries, verifying item counts and accuracy.
• Operate equipment such as Pallet Jacks, Walkie Stackers, WAVe and trolleys.
• Maintain the Inwards/Outwards Goods Register for all stock movements.
• Assist customers with pickups and provide friendly support.
• Uphold store floor and stockroom cleanliness and safety standards.

Required profile

• Proactive, reliable and able to work independently in a fast‑paced retail setting.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 15 kg to shoulder height, 10 kg above shoulder, and 45 kg with assistance.
• Comfortable wearing a headset to communicate with floor staff.
• Previous retail or storeroom experience is preferred but not mandatory.
