Store Manager

About the role

Mountain Warehouse is looking for a Store Manager in its Homebush location. As the heart of the store, you will inspire your team, take ownership of the store's success and drive sales while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the team: motivate staff, foster a positive culture, resolve employee relations issues and support learning and development.
• Run the store efficiently and in line with company policies, keeping visual merchandising and housekeeping to a high standard.
• Carry out regular risk assessments and maintain a safe, secure environment.
• Recruit, retain and develop talent to build a high-performing team.
• Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs, and take a proactive approach to loss prevention.
• Use commercial insights to manage budgets and make informed decisions.
• Deliver outstanding customer service, act on customer feedback and represent the brand professionally.
• Build meaningful connections with the local community.

Required profile

• A confident, experienced retail manager who enjoys motivating and empowering teams.
• Skilled in managing diverse personalities with diplomacy and adaptability.
• An excellent communicator who can set clear expectations and give clear feedback.
• Results-driven, solutions-focused and approachable, with a focus on sales and performance goals.
