About the role

A stonemason foreman position in Fyshwick, ACT, leading and supervising a stonemason team across the fabrication and installation of natural stone for residential and commercial projects across Canberra.

Key responsibilities

Lead and supervise a stonemason team
Fabricate and install natural stone for residential and commercial projects
Cut, shape and polish stone with machinery and hand tools
Measure, glue and manufacture custom stone products
Operate across all aspects of the production process
Travel to job sites for measurements and installations
Read and interpret plans and drawings

Required profile

Sstonemasonry trade qualification or proven experience
Installation experience on commercial and residential sites
Strong leadership and supervisory ability
Ability to read plans and measurements

Required skills

CNC bridge saw or waterjet experience desirable
Stone cutting, shaping and polishing
