Solution Analyst (KYC Platform)

About the role

ANZ is looking for a Solution Analyst to lead the design and delivery of its KYC‑as‑a‑Service platform. Based in Melbourne, you will shape cloud‑native solutions that meet regulatory requirements while supporting the bank’s digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end architectures for KYC platforms, including cloud, SaaS and integration components.
• Translate business requirements into functional and non‑functional specifications, ensuring scalability, performance and compliance.
• Provide technical leadership across multi‑vendor and cross‑functional teams, aligning delivery streams and resolving complex issues.
• Own delivery outcomes through design, build, release and support phases, guaranteeing high‑quality results.
• Act as subject‑matter expert for KYC data, overseeing ingestion, transformation, validation and rule execution.
• Design and optimise AWS‑based cloud environments for resilience and performance.
• Lead incident management and production support, serving as escalation point for critical incidents.
• Engage stakeholders from business, compliance and technology, communicating technical concepts in clear business terms.
• Mentor engineers, promote best practices and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering complex KYC or compliance solutions.
• Strong background in translating business needs into scalable technical designs.
• Extensive experience with AWS cloud architecture and secure, high‑performance environments.
• Ability to lead multi‑vendor projects and guide cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and mentorship.
