DevOps Engineer

About the role

Adactin Group is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join its Australian consulting team. You will work on designing, building and maintaining modern CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure, primarily on Azure, while collaborating with development and operations teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, YAML and multi‑stage releases.
• Manage Azure resources including AKS, App Services, VMs, networking, and monitor them via Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Integrate security controls such as Azure Defender and RBAC, and implement GitOps workflows with Azure Repos.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using ARM templates, Bicep or Terraform.
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimise cloud costs and support disaster‑recovery processes.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance scalability and high‑availability in Azure environments.
• Work with private interconnect solutions (ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, Cloud Interconnect), VPC peering and secure landing zone concepts.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure cloud services and resource management.
• Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and source‑control workflows.
• Good understanding of networking, security and cost‑optimization in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with hybrid or private‑cloud platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Tanzu, Rancher) is highly preferred.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and automation is a strong plus.
