Software Engineer (Python)

About the role

PCCW Global is looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join its Network Automation team. You will design and implement Python‑based automation solutions that directly support customer‑facing network operations across a global infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Estimate timelines, design and deliver new features with high‑quality Python code.
• Define clear design strategies and ensure extensive automated test coverage.
• Take full ownership of services from development through production deployment and operation.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to deploy maintainable, scalable code in a Kubernetes‑based micro‑services environment.
• Monitor systems, conduct regular analysis, and recommend policy or procedural improvements.
• Investigate and resolve defects, adhere to coding standards, and provide constructive code reviews.
• Mentor teammates through advice, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
