Site Director – Manufacturing (Western Sydney)

About the role

We are seeking a Site Director to lead our Western Sydney manufacturing operation. The role sits at the heart of a major transformation, focusing on performance, Lean principles and a high‑performing culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all day‑to‑day manufacturing activities across production, maintenance, safety and facility performance.
• Drive WHS standards and embed a safety‑first mindset.
• Oversee maintenance, engineering and overall site reliability.
• Improve productivity, efficiency and key operational KPIs.
• Implement Lean manufacturing and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Develop capability within frontline and operational leadership teams.
• Maintain a strong floor presence, leading through change and transformation.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Track record in high‑volume production environments.
• Exposure to Lean, continuous improvement or operational excellence frameworks.
• Experience managing transformation, change or business integration.
• Strong commercial and operational acumen with full site accountability.
• Hands‑on, visible leadership style.

Required skills

• Mechanical Engineering qualification (preferred).
• Electrical Engineering qualification (preferred).
