SHEQ Manager – South West Operations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) Manager to lead and continuously improve SHEQ performance across four operational sites in our South West operations, covering both mining and pigment production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead site‑based SHEQ teams and manage budgets to ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory and corporate requirements.
• Develop and deliver annual SHEQ plans aligned with global standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support occupational health, industrial hygiene and fitness‑for‑work programmes.
• Oversee emergency response, crisis management preparedness and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Lead critical incident investigations and maintain strong relationships with regulators and external stakeholders.
• Coach, develop and embed a proactive safety, environmental and quality culture across all levels of the organisation.

Required profile

• Proven SHEQ leadership experience in mining, heavy industry or manufacturing.
• Strong working knowledge of Australian SHEQ legislation and standards.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and frontline teams across multiple sites.
• Experience leading audits, incident investigations and regulatory engagement.
• Tertiary qualification in Safety, Health, Environment or related field.
