Service Operations Lead

About the role

Leidos Australia is seeking a Service Operations Lead to own the strategic direction, health and continual improvement of multiple ICT services. You will act as the process owner, ensuring services align with customer needs, commercial goals and industry best practice while delivering measurable business value.

Key responsibilities

• Act as process owner and customer advocate, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships throughout the service lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain service strategies, roadmaps, governance activities and continual improvement initiatives.
• Monitor, analyse and report on service performance, risks, trends and opportunities to senior stakeholders.
• Lead service assurance, review and change enablement activities to support quality, compliance and operational effectiveness.
• Collaborate across technical, operational, architecture, product and supplier teams to drive integrated service outcomes and innovation.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in ICT Service Delivery Management, Service Ownership or Service Operations within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, consultancy and influencing skills, with experience working across matrix organisations and senior leadership.
• Tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science, Business Management or related discipline are desirable.
• Australian citizenship and NV‑1 security clearance are required.

Required skills

• ITIL‑based service management practices (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Continual Service Improvement).
• Knowledge of ICT service management standards and ISO 20000‑aligned practices.
