Senior Relationship Manager – Emerging Corporate

About the role

ANZ is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager to lead its Emerging Corporate portfolio in Sydney. You will work closely with an Assistant Manager to develop and grow relationships with owners and decision‑makers of sophisticated mid‑market customers, delivering tailored banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Emerging Corporate customers with a customer‑centric approach.
• Collaborate with product partners and credit teams to structure and negotiate deals.
• Provide expertise in working capital financing, trade finance, cash management and trade facilities.
• Conduct credit and industry portfolio analysis to support proposal recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with Group audit, QA and audit standards.
• Work with lending services to minimise provisions and non‑lending losses.
• Maintain strong awareness of relevant industries and economic trends.

Required profile

• Significant experience in commercial mid‑market or specialist banking.
• Proven ability to manage complex relationships and deliver results.
• Strong analytical and credit assessment skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across product, credit and operations teams.
