Senior Relationship Manager – Business & Private Banking

About the role

ANZ is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager to lead and expand relationships with owners and decision‑makers of its largest and most sophisticated Emerging Corporate customers in the commercial mid‑market. You will work closely with an Assistant Manager to solve complex banking challenges and provide tailored financing, trade, and cash‑management solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Emerging Corporate clients with a customer‑centric approach.
• Develop deep expertise in working capital financing, trade finance, cash management and trade facilities.
• Maintain strong awareness of industry trends, economic forces and market dynamics.
• Collaborate with lending services to minimise provisions and ensure credit quality.
• Ensure compliance with Group audit, QA and regulatory standards.
• Perform credit and industry portfolio analysis to support credit proposal recommendations.
• Build efficient relationships with operations teams to streamline processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial or corporate banking, preferably within the mid‑market segment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage senior‑level client relationships and drive business growth.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in credit assessment and portfolio management.
• Knowledge of compliance, audit and regulatory requirements in banking.
• Degree in finance, economics, business or a related field.
