Senior Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the rollout of a large‑scale FOGO (Food Organics Garden Organics) three‑bin system across Perth. The role oversees the entire project lifecycle, from planning through delivery, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and strong community engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of the FOGO program on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate contractors for delivery, assembly, and distribution.
• Work closely with Operations teams to ensure service readiness.
• Manage rollout scheduling, resource planning, and risk mitigation.
• Support the FOGO Education Team and deliver community education initiatives.
• Respond to resident enquiries and provide ongoing support.
• Monitor contamination outcomes, conduct bin audits, and analyse data trends.
• Prepare project reporting, grant acquittals, and documentation.
• Manage project budgets, forecasting, procurement, and contract activities.
• Drive continuous improvement for future rollout stages.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, safety, procurement, and local government requirements.
• Represent the business unit with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering large‑scale rollouts.
• Strong contractor and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience managing budgets, reporting, and operational delivery.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Background in waste, sustainability, infrastructure, local government, or environmental services is highly regarded.
