Senior Project Engineer – Marine & Civil Projects

About the role

ACCIONA is delivering two new land‑backed wharves at Lumsden Point, Port Hedland, supporting critical mineral exports and renewable energy imports. Based at the Northbridge corporate office, the Senior Project Engineer will lead engineering coordination for this complex marine and civil construction programme.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate temporary works design, review and approval.
• Manage structural and civil design interfaces with contractors.
• Plan and control project schedules along the critical path.
• Lead technical method statements and construction methodology.
• Oversee digital engineering tools for site coordination.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers on site.
• Track cost, time, scope and quality against project plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Strong background in temporary works and structures.
• Experience managing design on complex civil projects.
• Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Office and digital engineering tools.
