Senior National Account Manager

About the role

Ferrero Australia is looking for an experienced Senior National Account Manager to lead the strategic and day‑to‑day management of its key customer accounts. The role is central to driving sustainable growth, delivering strong commercial results, and ensuring Ferrero’s point‑of‑purchase excellence across range, shelf, display, and promotional activity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day management of assigned national accounts to achieve sales targets and commercial objectives.
• Develop and execute customer strategies aligned with Ferrero’s business priorities.
• Build trusted, long‑term relationships with customer buying and replenishment teams.
• Negotiate pricing, promotional plans, case deals, and activation activities.
• Own accurate sales forecasting and manage trade and A&P spend within agreed budgets.
• Ensure timely trade accruals and claims processing in SAP TM.
• Partner with demand planning, supply chain, and commercial planning teams for alignment.
• Provide clear reporting (daily, weekly, monthly) to key stakeholders.
• Develop field activation briefs to support strong in‑store execution.
• Coach and support team development with inclusive leadership.

Required profile

• University degree in Business, Management or related field.
• Experience in national account management or a similar commercial role within FMCG MNCs.
• Solid understanding of Australian retail and customer dynamics.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and analytical capabilities, including use of scan and shopper data.
• Confident stakeholder communication, collaborative and customer‑focused.
• Results‑driven with a disciplined, structured approach and commitment to continuous learning.
• Ability to operate in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office tools.
• Experience with SAP (SAP TM is a plus).
