Chief Commercial Officer – Fintech

About the role

We are partnering with a high‑growth alternative fintech lender to appoint a Chief Commercial Officer. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own the commercial strategy, drive growth across all channels and build a national sales organisation from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the end‑to‑end commercial strategy.
• Accelerate broker and aggregator channel growth and increase wallet share.
• Build and lead a national Business Development Manager team with state‑based hires.
• Lift application volume and quality to meet lending targets.
• Establish a national sales function and embed best‑in‑class processes.

Required profile

• Proven sales leadership with a track record of building high‑performing teams.
• Experience in alternative lending, cash‑flow or working‑capital financing strongly preferred.
• Deep understanding of the finance broker and aggregator landscape.
• Comfortable setting strategy and getting hands‑dirty in execution.
• Based in Brisbane (open to Sydney candidates).
