Senior Manager - Assurance Technology and AI Data Readiness

About the role

EY is hiring a Senior Manager for Assurance Technology and AI Data Readiness in Adelaide. The role connects business priorities, technology strategy and financial governance so the Assurance practice gets more value from technology investments, and helps grow and deliver AI Data Readiness services that let clients assess their data, governance and operating models and build roadmaps for AI adoption at scale. It is a hybrid position in one of EY's Oceania offices, and roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the key link between Assurance, Client Technology and Finance, turning business priorities into technology roadmaps, investment plans and clear governance outcomes.
• Provide transparency and challenge over technology expenditure, budgets and cost allocations, and develop business cases that strengthen accountability for benefits realisation.
• Lead and support AI Data Readiness engagements, including executive workshops, assessment of data and operating model maturity, and development of prioritised roadmaps for responsible AI adoption.

Required profile

• Strong technology leadership and stakeholder management experience across business, finance and technology functions.
• Commercial experience assessing technology investments, budgets and cost allocation models, with sound technology governance and portfolio management capability.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to senior executives.
• Ideally: experience leading technology transformation or digital enablement in a large organisation, managing technology portfolios, budgets or governance, supporting AI, data or analytics programs, and working with external clients in an advisory or consulting setting.
