Senior Field Technician – Longreach

About the role

nbn is looking for a Senior Field Technician based in the Longreach area. As part of a field service team, you will deliver end-to-end service to homes and businesses across Australia, from installation to repair and maintenance, working across the network and in customers' properties. The role suits someone who wants to be the friendly face, confident voice and skilled hands on the ground.

Key responsibilities

• Work with a field service team to deliver timely, high-quality service to customers
• Carry out installation, repair and maintenance of copper and fibre networks
• Collaborate with a supportive team, with coaching, mentorship and career progression opportunities

Required profile

• Extensive experience with copper and fibre network assurance, fault finding and installs
• ACMA licence, preferably with a Certificate III or IV in telecommunications
• Current driver's licence
• Full working rights in Australia
• Availability to work required hours within the 7am–7pm slot and to travel to work sites away from home
