Senior Educational Developer – Medicine Program Redesign

About the role

The Senior Educational Developer will lead the redesign of the Medicine Program, creating innovative, high‑quality curriculum and digital learning experiences for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and evaluate curriculum initiatives aligned with program learning outcomes.
• Create digital learning activities, assessments, and educational resources using technology‑enhanced teaching strategies.
• Lead educational projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives across the Faculty.
• Support curriculum mapping, maintain course outlines, and manage topic data reports in the Curriculum Mapping System.
• Collaborate with academic staff to integrate evidence‑based pedagogy and educational technologies.

Required profile

• Relevant qualifications in education, technology, or equivalent experience.
• Proven leadership in innovation and improvement of learning and teaching.
• Extensive experience in curriculum and course design for higher education, focusing on technology‑enhanced learning.
• Experience planning and delivering professional development programs in TE‑L (technology‑enhanced learning).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems such as Moodle and Canvas.
• Ability to develop interactive learning materials using a range of educational technologies.

What we offer

• Professional Level 8 salary $127,351–$143,488 per year (AUD) plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading.
• Fixed‑term contract until 30 April 2028.
