Senior Demand and Supply Planner

About the role

The Senior Demand & Supply Planner creates and maintains an 18‑month consensus demand plan for finished‑goods, aligning forecasts with financial plans and collaborating across regions. The role supports sales and marketing demand planning, manages inventory freshness, and contributes to the Sales and Operational Planning process.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse historical sales, market trends, seasonality and promotions to continuously improve forecasting accuracy.
• Maintain a rolling 18‑month forecast, manage safety stock levels, and oversee inventory targets for each SKU and distribution centre.
• Drive corrective actions to meet KPI targets such as forecast accuracy, service level and goods destruction.
• Manage new product introductions, end‑of‑life transitions and co‑packing requirements while optimising costs.
• Prepare and communicate forecast and supply risks & opportunities to management.

Required profile

• 5+ years of senior demand and supply planning experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field; APICS certification a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to drive issue resolution.

Required skills

• ERP systems: SAP, APO, IBP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Statistical modelling for demand planning.
