Senior Commercial Analyst

About the role

Join NRMA Parks & Resorts as a Senior Commercial Analyst, turning insight into commercial decisions across a diverse portfolio of holiday destinations. You will work closely with the Commercial Finance Manager and senior stakeholders to influence investment, capital planning and strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop complex financial models, scenario and sensitivity analyses to support strategic decisions.
• Build and evaluate business cases for capital investments, acquisitions, park redevelopments and new accommodation products.
• Assess investment opportunities using NPV, ROCE, IRR, ROI and payback methodologies.
• Analyse property, regional and portfolio performance to identify trends, risks and commercial opportunities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and long‑term planning, and review performance post‑acquisition.

Required profile

• Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business.
• At least 5 years of experience in commercial finance, business or commercial analysis.
• Strong commercial acumen with the confidence to challenge assumptions and influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience in hospitality, tourism, accommodation or multi‑site operations is advantageous.

Required skills

• Advanced financial modelling and Excel capability.
• Experience with BI and data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
• Knowledge of SQL and TM1/Planning Analytics or similar platforms.
