Security Partner - Information Security (Oceania)

About the role

This role develops and leads highly technical and specialized areas of information security such as security engineering, architecture, forensics analysis, threat analysis, threat hunting and penetration testing. It also manages the development, deployment and execution of enterprise security controls, monitors and exploits system vulnerabilities, and guides business decision-makers on risk and incident resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver advanced information security solutions aligned with strategic business goals and guide technical reviews of security controls for third-party assurance, compliance and data security obligations.
• Approve enterprise-level development projects and contribute to a short-term architectural roadmap that reduces risk from known and emerging threats.
• Review investigation reports, issue gap analysis reports and act as escalation point and decision maker for major security incidents.
• Direct cyber security research, partner with experts on threat detection, and provide actionable intelligence to help prioritize protections.
• Review and approve threat assessment control definitions and procedures, and guide ongoing information security monitoring programs.
• Organize high-profile hacking scenarios to validate system integrity and data confidentiality, define documentation and reporting guidelines, and assist management in improving security frameworks.
• Review security solution recommendations, validate new user needs or program enhancements, and simplify complex concepts for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree; Information Security or Computer Science preferred, others considered.
• Typically a minimum of 10 years of related professional experience, including at least 5-6 years in a managerial position.
• One or more of the listed certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISA, CISM, PCI-QSA, PCIP, CRISC, CFCE, CCTA).
• Preferred: Master's degree in a related field and prior experience in global payments, payment or technology industries.
