Room Attendant - Housekeeping

About the role

Crown Sydney's Housekeeping team is looking for friendly, reliable people to join its team. The housekeeping team plays a vital role in delivering the premium experience guests expect from one of Australia's most iconic luxury hotels. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, which suits students on student visas or people seeking flexible part-time work in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms to Crown's high standards
• Make beds, change linen and clean bathrooms
• Vacuum and tidy rooms
• Refill guest amenities and supplies
• Report maintenance or safety issues to your supervisor
• Respect guest privacy and work professionally at all times
• Work with your team to meet daily room targets based on a credit system

Required profile

• At least 3 months' previous experience in housekeeping in a hotel, resort or accommodation environment
• Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster
• Ability to perform continuous physical work, including standing, bending and lifting over 8 hours
• English communication skills to understand personalised instructions and safety requirements
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
