About the role

Mercor is seeking a Remote Visual Slide Designer to create polished, high‑impact presentations for AI research labs and tech‑focused clients. This contract position focuses on turning rough content into clear, engaging visual stories using PowerPoint and Google Slides.

Key responsibilities

• Design and refine professional PowerPoint and Google Slides decks.
• Improve visual hierarchy, layout, typography, and color consistency.
• Convert complex information into clean, digestible visuals.
• Apply visual storytelling principles to enhance clarity and impact.
• Create reusable templates, slide systems, and design guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with brand and communication goals.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in presentation design, visual communication, or a related field.
• Strong portfolio showcasing high‑quality slide decks or visual presentations.
• Expertise in PowerPoint and Google Slides.
• Ability to simplify complex information into clean visuals.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency.
• Comfort working with AI‑generated or structured content.
