Registered Psychologist – Early Start Australia

About the role

Join Early Start Australia as a Registered Psychologist and become part of a multidisciplinary allied health team delivering assessment, counselling and therapy to children, young people and families across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct new client assessments using referrals, questionnaires and standardized tools such as WPPSI, WISC, WRAT, WRAML, ADOS and MIGDAS.
• Provide timely feedback, develop individualized therapy plans and deliver services in clinic, home, school and community settings.
• Maintain accurate clinical notes, reports and documentation within required timeframes.
• Collaborate with allied health professionals, align therapy plans with NDIS funding and participate in supervision and professional development.

Required profile

• Relevant psychology qualification with registration on the Psychology Board of Australia and AHPRA.
• Current Working with Children Check (or equivalent), NDIS Workers Screening Check, police check and first aid certification.
• Demonstrated experience in solution‑focused therapy, early intervention and engaging with children, families and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standardized assessments: WPPSI, WISC, WRAT, WRAML, ADOS, MIGDAS.
• Strong observational, report writing and documentation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in the community and within a multidisciplinary team.
