Refrigeration Mechanic – 2:1 FIFO roster

About the role

Join Sodexo’s Facility Maintenance team as a Refrigeration Mechanic on a 2:1 FIFO roster (two weeks on‑site, one week at home). You will be responsible for keeping refrigeration equipment operating safely and efficiently across domestic and commercial sites in Queensland.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain commercial and domestic refrigeration systems.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance and emergency breakdowns.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company procedures.

Required profile

• Relevant trade qualification and QBCC registration (or ability to obtain).
• Australian citizenship or full working rights.
• 3‑5 years post‑apprenticeship experience in a similar maintenance role.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with refrigeration systems and components.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and service manuals.
• Willingness to undergo pre‑employment medical and background checks.
