Project Manager – Renewable Energy Projects (Dubbo)

About the role

We are seeking a strategic leader to own the full delivery of major renewable energy projects from our Dubbo base. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial performance, safety leadership and stakeholder delivery of solar, BESS and high‑voltage infrastructure works.

Key responsibilities

• Own project P&L, budgets, forecasting and variation management.
• Develop and maintain detailed project programmes and look‑ahead plans.
• Lead safety culture on‑site, ensuring zero‑harm outcomes and WHS compliance.
• Coordinate civil, electrical and commissioning teams to achieve seamless delivery.
• Manage supervisors, engineers and subcontractors with clear accountability.
• Act as primary client and stakeholder interface, building strong relationships.
• Provide accurate cost, schedule, risk reporting and ensure systems compliance.
• Oversee inspections, testing and commissioning to meet specifications, ITPS and standards.

Required profile

• Electrical or engineering qualification (preferred) together with a trade qualification.
• 7‑12+ years delivering renewable or infrastructure projects (solar, BESS, HV/LV).
• Proven commercial acumen with P&L management experience.
• Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong client and stakeholder communication skills.
• Advanced WHS leadership and knowledge of relevant standards and codes.
• Desirable: management or business qualification and experience with GC21/AS4000 contracts.
