Production Planning SME – SAP

About the role

The Production Planning AU Subject Matter Expert (SME) will provide functional expertise for the ANZ SAP S/4 implementation, working closely with the Stream Lead, project team and business stakeholders to design, document and validate end‑to‑end processes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Production Planning domain input across design, build and deployment phases.
• Document and validate current‑state processes, business requirements and pain points.
• Support future‑state solution design aligned to SAP S/4 and business needs.
• Participate in workshops, review proposed changes and manage issues, risks and escalations.
• Contribute to testing activities, defect triage and outcome validation.
• Support change management, training inputs and adoption activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in process improvement, project or system‑related initiatives.
• Proven ability to document requirements and translate business needs into practical solutions.
• Experience supporting workshops, testing, training and implementation delivery.
• Comfortable working in a changing environment with competing priorities.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to manage priorities and timelines.
• Willingness to travel on a routine basis.

Required skills

• SAP functional expertise, especially Production Planning.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4 implementation.
