People, Inclusion & Culture Manager (12‑month contract)

About the role

Universal Music Australia is seeking an experienced People, Inclusion & Culture (PIC) Manager on a 12‑month parental‑leave contract. The role provides strategic and operational HR support across the full employee lifecycle while partnering with leaders to build an inclusive, high‑performing culture.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end talent acquisition, including job ads, screening, interview coordination and candidate experience.
• Champion organisational values, design and deliver employee engagement, wellbeing and inclusion initiatives.
• Oversee onboarding and off‑boarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions and compliance.
• Act as first point of contact for employee queries, support employee‑relations cases and prepare related documentation.
• Maintain compliance registers, track mandatory training and provide reporting on compliance status.

Required profile

• Proactive HR professional with solid experience across the employee lifecycle.
• Strong partnership skills with senior leaders to drive organisational effectiveness.
• Ability to manage multiple HR functions simultaneously in a fast‑paced, creative environment.
