PDHPE Teacher – Junior School (0.4 FTE, Term 3 & 4 2026)

About the role

St Andrew’s Cathedral School is seeking a passionate and experienced PDHPE teacher to join its Junior and Gawura schools. This part‑time (0.4 FTE) fixed‑term position runs for Terms 3 and 4 of 2026 and offers the opportunity to contribute to an exemplary PDHPE programme within a vibrant Christian environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging PDHPE lessons to junior‑school students, fostering both physical competence and wellbeing.
• Incorporate technology to enhance learning experiences and assessment.
• Collaborate with a dynamic teaching team to plan, evaluate and continuously improve the curriculum.
• Uphold and model the school’s Christian values, ethos and behavioural expectations.

Required profile

• Qualified and experienced PDHPE teacher with a proven ability to inspire young learners.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Confidence in using educational technology to support instruction.
• Current knowledge of recent developments in PDHPE theory and practice.
• Commitment to the school’s Anglican Christian framework.
