About the role

St Andrew's Cathedral School is seeking a passionate Junior School teacher for K‑6 students on a full‑time contract covering Term 3 and Term 4 of 2026. You will join a collaborative team of educators in a supportive, Christian‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging primary curriculum to students in Years K‑6.
• Collaborate with the Junior School and Gawura School teams to enhance learning outcomes.
• Uphold and model the school’s Christian mission, values and ethos.
• Contribute to a safe, child‑protected classroom environment.

Required profile

• Enthusiasm and ability to inspire primary‑age learners.
• Sound knowledge of recent developments in primary pedagogy.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.

• Teaching or librarian qualifications are desirable but not essential.
