Part-time Customer Service Specialist (3 days/week)

About the role

The Customer Service Specialist will support the National Service Team of the Aon‑HIA joint venture, delivering smooth insurance and construction industry operations. Working three days a week (22.5 hours), you will assist brokers and clients throughout the insurance application process and provide comprehensive administrative support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage enquiries via web portals, email and phone, ensuring timely responses.
• Process insurance applications, amendments, cancellations, policy renewals and client payments.
• Enter and maintain client information in internal CRM and Aon systems.
• Monitor Home Warranty and Domestic Building Insurance applications and policy deadlines.
• Prepare and verify invoicing using Excel data and reports.
• Collaborate with brokers, insurance teams and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Support ad‑hoc administrative and project tasks as required.

Required profile

• Strong administration and customer service experience.
• Ability to follow financial and insurance procedures and investigate issues.
• Self‑motivated, able to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment.
• High attention to detail and excellent time‑management skills.
• Capable of prioritising multiple complex tasks to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel for data handling and reporting.
• CRM database management and data entry.
