OSHC Assistant Coordinator - Valley View

About the role

Valley View OSHClub in Wyoming is seeking an inspiring and motivated OSHC Assistant Coordinator for a permanent, part-time role of 25 hours per week, split across Monday to Friday. It suits students in education, psychology, social work or healthcare who want hands-on experience with children around their study timetable. The Assistant Coordinator helps lead a team of Educators and oversees a before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12.

Key responsibilities

• Design and help lead a child-centred program with activities such as STEM, sport, cooking, arts and crafts
• Assist with rosters, daily operations, compliance and administration
• Build a positive, inclusive team culture where Educators feel supported and motivated
• Partner with families, the school community and internal stakeholders to help the service grow

Required profile

• Relevant qualification or currently studying in education, psychology, social work or healthcare
• National police check (covered by the employer)
• Australian working-with-children check
• Australian working rights
• Child safety training completed before onboarding via Gecko

What we offer

• Pay of $39-$42 per hour including allowances and super
• Split shifts: Rise Then Shine 6:30am-8:30am, Stay and Play 2:30pm-6:00pm, and block shifts during school holidays
