Operations Trainer

About the role

The Operations Trainer will design, deliver and evaluate all training programmes for Epiroc Kinetic Logging Services. You will work both in the classroom and on‑site, using hands‑on, virtual and on‑the‑job coaching methods to build competency across field teams.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate learning through classroom instruction, technical hands‑on sessions, virtual training and on‑the‑job coaching.
• Visit field operations to conduct training and assess operator competencies.
• Identify training needs, develop training plans and monitor progress.
• Apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness and report outcomes.
• Manage the learning management system, maintain training records and ensure compliance.
• Develop and update operating manuals for field equipment.

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122).
• Proven experience in training and assessing, preferably in mining, electronics or mechanical environments.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with solid technical ability.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation and communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills and ability to administer an LMS.
• Adaptable, motivated, team‑oriented and willing to travel within WA and interstate.
