OOSH Director - BFS Albion Park

About the role

BFS Children's Services is looking for an OOSH Director for its Albion Park centre. The role leads the delivery of high-quality care and education for school-aged children, building lasting relationships with parents, carers and the team of educators, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service. The roster is 38 hours per week (Monday 8 hours, Tuesday to Friday 7.5 hours per day).

Key responsibilities

• Provide quality education and care to all children.
• Contribute to planning educational programs that support each child's learning and goals.
• Build strong relationships with children, families and the community.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service.

Required profile

• Diploma of Children's Services or a related qualification (desirable).
• Strong understanding of the NQF and My Time Our Place; ability to meet the requirements to be a Nominated Supervisor.
• Cleared NSW Working with Children's Check (WWCC) and a cleared National Criminal Record Check.
• Commitment to safeguarding children and to cultural safety for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families.
• Evidence of completion of the National Child Safety Training Foundation Course.
• References from a minimum of two referees, one of whom must be a manager or supervisor at your current or most recent workplace.
