Onsite Laboratory Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Laboratory Technician who is excited by the challenges of our business and the variety these roles offer. This is a permanent FIFO role and you will be based at one of our onsite locations in regional WA. Depending on the focus of your role, you will be using specialised equipment for laboratory testing of samples or performing manual handling tasks to prepare samples.

Key responsibilities

• All aspects of sample preparation
• Davies tube recovery
• Sizing of samples
• XRF analysis

Required profile

• Existing skills and experience in sample preparation, metallurgical test work and XRF
• Ability to maintain high quality work while meeting daily production targets
• Ability to comply with site‑specific and Bureau Veritas QHSE policies
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
