Occupational Therapist (ADF & DVA) – Part‑time Remote

About the role

Join Acumen Health’s specialist military rehabilitation team to conduct Activities of Daily Living (ADL) assessments for Australian Defence Force members and veterans. This part‑time, predominantly work‑from‑home position offers flexibility and autonomy while making a meaningful impact on the lives of those who have served Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive in‑home ADL assessments for ADF members and veterans across metropolitan Melbourne and occasional regional locations.
• Assess functional capacity, daily living needs, independence and support requirements.
• Prepare high‑quality, evidence‑based assessment reports and recommendations.
• Identify barriers to function and participation using strong clinical reasoning.
• Manage your own diary, scheduling and workflow with administrative support.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration.
• Ability to work independently, manage schedule and travel to regional sites as needed.
• Current Australian driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.

Required skills

• Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
• Excellent report writing and communication abilities.
