Non-Destructive Testing Traineeship – Perth, WA

About the role

We are looking for motivated trainees to join our Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) Traineeship Program starting January 2027 in Perth, WA. The program combines on‑site practical experience with funded study leading to nationally recognised NDT qualifications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site non‑destructive testing using methods such as dye penetrant, magnetic particle and ultrasonic testing.
• Participate in mentorship, knowledge transfer and accumulate practical experience across oil & gas, mining and other industry sites.

Required profile

• Year 12 completion with pass marks in Mathematics, English and Science, or demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to pass a mathematical aptitude test and a flexible, “can‑do” attitude with willingness to travel and work flexible hours.

Required skills

• Level II AINDT certification in Materials Technology.
• Level II AINDT certification in Dye Penetrant testing.
• Level II AINDT certification in Magnetic Particle testing.
• Ultrasonic Testing – Welds certification.
