Non-Destructive Testing Traineeship in Singleton

About the role

We are looking for motivated trainees to join our Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) Traineeship Programme starting January 2027. You will gain hands‑on field experience in NDT methods while studying Engineering at Certificate III or Advanced Diploma level, fully funded by Bureau Veritas.

Key responsibilities

• Perform practical, on‑site NDT inspections under supervision.
• Complete Certificate III in Engineering and obtain Level II AINDT certifications.
• Accumulate experience in Materials Technology, Dye Penetrant, Magnetic Particle and Ultrasonic Testing.
• Participate in mentorship and knowledge‑transfer activities.

Required profile

• Year 12 completion with passes in Maths, English and Science, or a strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to pass a mathematical aptitude test.
• Positive “can‑do” attitude, willingness to travel and work flexible hours.

Required skills

• Materials Technology testing.
• Dye Penetrant testing.
• Magnetic Particle testing.
• Ultrasonic testing (welds).
