National Account Manager

About the role

Brand Influence Group (BIG) is looking for a National Account Manager to work with a global client, driving in‑store excellence and supporting the company’s rapid expansion across Australia and New Zealand. The role involves translating sales plans into actionable execution, managing merchandising projects and delivering data‑driven insights.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the client team to convert sales plans into clear execution plans that drive in‑store performance.
• Lead planning and project management of merchandising and sales priorities.
• Measure, monitor and communicate performance results to internal and client stakeholders.
• Interpret and analyse data, presenting insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to develop joint business plans for key accounts.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitive opportunities and customer insights.
• Design job briefs for field teams and deliver best‑in‑class execution.
• Produce post‑activation reports with actionable insights.
• Drive field team performance to create growth opportunities for clients.

Required profile

• Proven account management experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and client‑facing skills.
• Experience managing budgets, resources and delivering projects.
• Ability to lead both customer and personal growth initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with confidence presenting to larger audiences.

Required skills

• Intermediate Excel proficiency (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, data analysis).
• Creation of presentations and one‑pagers using PowerPoint or Keynote.
• Report generation and data‑driven insight development.
