National Account Manager

About the role

TCCD is seeking a National Account Manager to own and grow relationships with Australia’s independent grocery ecosystem, including national wholesalers and banner groups. Reporting to the National Business Manager, you will drive commercial outcomes, joint business planning and category initiatives that increase distribution, shelf share and ROI.

Key responsibilities

• Manage national customer plans, calendars and pipelines across Metcash and key banner groups.
• Lead annual and quarterly joint business plans, setting targets for distribution, promotions, displays and new product launches.
• Develop and execute promotional strategies, negotiate campaigns and optimise trade spend.
• Drive category development through planograms, shelf principles and merchandising standards.
• Forecast revenue and spend, manage risks and opportunities with Finance.
• Partner with field operations to ensure flawless in‑store execution.
• Deliver gross sales, trade spend and market‑share targets for the assigned portfolio.
