Moulding Technician

About the role

The Moulding Technician will set up, operate and troubleshoot injection moulding machines to produce mobile garbage bins and related components at our advanced facility in Somersby, NSW.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee production schedules, coordinate mould changes, machine setups and material handling.
• Adjust machine parameters to optimise output and quality while maintaining production records.
• Perform routine maintenance, address equipment issues and collaborate with the R&M team as needed.
• Manage inventory movement, support shift handovers and promote a clean, safe work environment.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar manufacturing role or related environment.
• Year 10 education and/or Certificate III in Process Manufacturing, or equivalent trade qualification.
• Physically fit, able to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Operation and troubleshooting of injection moulding machines and ancillary equipment.
• Adjustment of machine parameters for quality and efficiency.
• Routine equipment maintenance and basic mechanical repairs.
• Proficiency with computer applications for production reporting.
