Mechanical Engineer – Robotics & Industrial Automation

About the role

Robotine is developing a fully automated cabinet assembly system that blends robotics, motion control, machine vision, and industrial automation. As a Mechanical Engineer you will design real, production‑ready machines that move from concept to deployment in a fast‑moving startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems for industrial robotics applications.
• Create production‑ready CAD assemblies and detailed 2D orthographic drawings for suppliers.
• Generate manufacturing drawings that follow ISO 128 standards.
• Improve machine rigidity, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Support prototyping, testing, and iterative development of robotic systems.
• Collaborate closely with controls, software, and manufacturing teams.
• Assist with fabrication, manufacturing coordination, and on‑site commissioning.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Autodesk Inventor.
• Proven ability to produce 2D technical drawings for manufacturing.
• Familiarity with ISO 128 or similar drawing standards.
• Understanding of welding, tube laser cutting, and 3‑, 4‑, 5‑axis CNC machining.
• Practical mechanical design skills focused on manufacturability and reliability.
• Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent experience.
