Manager - Risk Analytics (Hybrid)

About the role

EY is hiring a Manager (Risk Analytics) in its Risk Consulting practice, based in Boorloo, Perth. You will lead and deliver risk-focused data and analytics projects for clients across a wide range of industries, combining business and technical skills to turn data into insights. The position is hybrid and may be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the growth of a national Risk Analytics team by supporting recruitment, capability building and business development, including coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage and design the delivery of complex analytics projects, building client relationships at all levels and becoming a trusted advisor.
• Manage onshore and offshore teams delivering analytics projects, including coaching and quality review.
• Support the development and rollout of Risk Analytics solutions, tools and methodologies within EY and for clients.

Required profile

• Demonstrated project management experience, inspiring collaboration and innovation in diverse teams and engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders to present data-driven insights.
• Experience with large, complex datasets and designing data-based solutions to business problems, with documented methods.
• Understanding of a relevant area complementary to Risk Analytics, such as Internal Audit, Data Governance or Risk Management.
• Business development experience, including stakeholder relationships, account management, tender and proposal creation and/or sales.

Required skills

• Hands-on data analysis, data preparation and/or data visualisation.
• Knowledge of data processing tools and techniques such as SQL and PowerQuery.
