Liquid Vacuum Truck Operator – Full-time

About the role

Veolia Australia & New Zealand is looking for a full-time Liquid Vacuum Truck Operator to join its Liquid Waste team at the St Marys facility. The role involves operating heavy vehicles to collect, transport and unload liquid waste while ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Unload Veolia and customer trucks at the St Marys site.
• Process and manage liquid waste in line with safety and environmental standards.
• Conduct on-site traffic management to ensure safe operations.
• Complete and maintain accurate paperwork for load tracking.
• Maintain equipment and site facilities to operational standards.
• Safely operate heavy vehicles for liquid waste collection, transport and delivery to designated disposal sites.
• Service multiple client sites, including loading, unloading and delivery of liquid waste.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.

Required profile

• Valid Heavy Vehicle (HC) licence with at least two years’ driving experience.
• Physical ability to remain on feet and perform manual tasks throughout the day.
• Ability to work independently and under supervision on site.
• Strong commitment to safety, environmental practices and Veolia’s AlwaysSafe culture.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to undergo pre‑employment medical, drug/alcohol screening and National Police Clearance.
• Confined Space ticket (desirable).
