About the role
The Lifestyle Assistant works within an aged‑care setting to promote independence and quality of life for residents. You will design and deliver engaging wellbeing activities while providing personalised support that aligns with each resident’s goals and preferences.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver inclusive lifestyle and wellbeing programs for residents.
- Provide one‑on‑one support tailored to individual needs.
- Assist in developing, reviewing, and evaluating resident wellbeing care plans.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain high standards of resident and stakeholder experience.
Required profile
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing).
- Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Current COVID‑19 vaccinations and 2026 flu vaccination.
- NDIS Clearance Check and children’s check.
- Valid driver’s licence and eligibility to work in Australia.
