Lead Educator (Casual Assistant Educator)

About the role

Community Kids Berwick Early Education Centre, part of G8 Education, is offering a casual Assistant Educator position to an experienced Certificate III or Diploma qualified educator. The centre is a fun-loving, supportive team of qualified Early Childhood professionals, and the role suits someone who wants to build and maintain an outstanding learning environment for children.

The centre offers indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms with age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities. At capacity it cares for up to 100 children, open from 6:30am to 6:30pm. The centre is flexible: full-time, part-time or other arrangements can be discussed during the interview.

Required profile

• Minimum ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma qualification in Children's Services
• Proven sector experience working with children aged 0-5 years in an early childhood service
• Current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate

Required skills

• Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Understanding of the National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
